I need some help identifying a pistol made in Spain that I received in a trade, it is a 32-20 Cal, G.A.C. FIREARMS MFG Co. on the top of barrel, on the left side it has 32/20 U.S. SERVICE CTGS. it looks like a Model 10 S&W. I would appreciate any information on this weapon.

There never EVER was a 32/20 U.S. SERVICE CTGS. The Spanish gunmakers were past masters at the B.S. nessessary to sell their guns to the unknowing and/or uncaring who will believe anything if it is written some where, even on a phony balogna copy of a M10 S&W. The insides of this pistol are probably a copy of the COLT design. Most were sold in South America.

Don't have my references handy, but If I remember correctly, it is something like Goeniega Arizmendi y Cia. They made a lot of these revolvers in the early 1920s. Any Spanish proof marks? that would help to date it closer. These are an average 32-20 caliber revolver, and were a logical progression from the 8mm Lebel revolvers made for the French in WWI.
